Just like the first Hanse for 44,444 marks, the Varianta 37 will be available next Saturday at an absolute Hanse hammer price. As part of an introductory campaign, the first ship will cost just 77,777 euros instead of the regular 89,131 euros - a whopping discount of a good 11,000 euros (almost 13 per cent) on an offer that will not be traded at the usual discounts.
This confirms the information provided by YACHT, which reported exclusively on the boat weeks ago.
However, only the first owner to sign the contract will benefit from this. And ten other buyers, for whom the sum then gradually increases towards the list price. The third owner pays 79,999 euros, the fifth 82,222 euros and so on.
There will probably be queues at the sales counter. And a kind of Hanseboot sprint. Who will run the fastest? Who will be the first to arrive at the Varianta stand (Hall B6, No. A150)? Which entrance has the shortest route? It's a bit like an autumn sale.
If you want to know what the Varianta 37, which is based on the Hanse 370, can do, you can find the exclusive test in YACHT 23/2013, which will only be available at newsagents from 30 October and for subscribers from 26 October. Too late for the start of the Hanseboot promotion.
So we'll tell you this much: if you can do without wood veneer, cosy comfort, a bathing platform and a double steering position, you're definitely not making a bad purchase with the new boat. Especially for 77,777 euros!
If you want to enter the race for the best price - or come to the Hanseboot on another day: You will find us at the YACHT stand in Hall B2, C 100.
